"Totally recommend, wish we could have stayed longer, the most perfect location to the city everywhere in walking distance yet the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Our room was facing the front yet never bothered by noise of traffic or people. Would happily stay again."

"Do not stay here. Horrible bodily odour smell in reception and lifts. Lobby area and rooms do not look anything like the photos on the site. The TV didn’t work, no bedside tables.. no lamps, no waste bin. Bed uncomfortable. HORRIBLE. Area around not great lots of unusual characters Take my advice and choose another hotel. As a solo traveller too I didn’t feel safe."

"Had an offer on this Hotel so it was great value for money. The decor is very tired but the Hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed our short stay. We were offered a, reduced rate breakfast at £10 a head which was good value and very enjoyable. "

"Clean room, bathroom was a bit dated but totally functional. The sauna and steam room were great. Bed was comfy. Onsite restaurant menus are not up to date online."

"Room was clean, staff friendly and polite. Buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Hotel is located near to the train station just a short walk and it’s in the centre of Cardiff. Would use again if visiting Cardiff again."

"Firstly can I say the staff were fabulous and very accommodating! It was the hotel itself that’s in need of some tlc. I paid extra for a nicer room, my friend had booked the more basic room so was interesting to see that both our rooms were identical except for the decor. Our room (142) had a horrendous smell of sewerage coming from the bathroom. The hotel must be aware of this as there was a plug in air freshener to disguise the smell in our room but not in our friends room where one wasn’t required. The tv in our room didn’t work. It would switch on but nothing else would happen. I didn’t inform staff as we were out most the day and only stayed one night. Also the shower in our room was scolding hot. I went to wash my hair and eventually gave up as I couldn’t stick the heat. Obviously turned the tap to cold and this made zero difference. Again I didn’t mention as we only stayed the one night. Shame as it had potential to be a lovely stay. Beds were comfy!"

"Great service on check-in and dinner. Breakfast staff a little chaotic/ rude. Clean hotel, clean room, comfortable bed and great views. Temperature control was an issue. Noisy AC / heating that didn't warm up the room. Woke up early feeling cold."
