Dont book with third party agencies because the hotel has hidden fees and false advertising about the amenities and services it offers. Also very expensive prices on all food and drinks

This property is so beautiful! Everyone was helpful and friendly and the snorkeling from the hotel beach was fantastic. It was our first trip to Roatan and we will hope to go back!

The staff is super nice! Confortable beds, the ocean is absolutely beautiful, I didn’t like all the children screaming and playing on the water, I was looking for a quite and relaxing vacation, the food is good, overall I like it, next time I’ll ask for a room closer to the beach.

Gorgeous property even with current construction. The Spa was absolutely amazing, best I have ever been too! All the staff were great, friendly and remember who you are. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back soon!

January 2023- We loved this resort. Breakfast was great and they had a lot of options. Beach and pool were amazing, lots of great restaurants that were within walking distance. They set up excursions for us and offered complimentary transportation to and from the airport. We stayed in the Junior Deluxe suite which was perfect for just the two of us and it was like a little tree house. We will be back!

Beautiful grounds. Great swimming. Excellent staff. Just note there is construction currently on going. Brittney and Belkis were helpful and accommodating during the stay. the older gentleman who works on the beach providing chairs and umbrellas is the hardest working and personable staff member at Grand Roatan. Overall great stay!

Pro's -Beautiful location, Friendly staff, Best Snorkeling location. The Spa and Gym look brand new and are the nicest I have ever seen. Dive operation onsite is excellent. Very convenient and helpful. Cons - Yes, the new building is under construction and there was some noise near the pool. Didn't bother us at all from the beach or while we were in the room. (Can't wait to go back and see the finished product.)

The resort has a great location and is wonderfully forested. The pool and beach bar are amazing. The staff service was friendly and helpful. However, there is a shockingly large multi-story building under-construction that towers over the entire resort. It's probably the tallest building on the entire island. It has been under-construction for 4 years now and seems like it's still a year or so until opening. It's next to the pool, so the noise is oppressive 6-days a week.

Grand Roatan was right in front of the reef. We snorkeled to it right from our beach at about waist deep. There were fish even at a foot of water. The staff was amazing. Every single person worked hard to make the place great. Whomever is doing the hiring is good. Quality people. We had a cabana type on the hill with a private outdoor shower and a great deck. Although it was a bit of a walk up the hill, we loved the privacy. The staff in the golf carts would also come and get you to take you to the beach, or even the store, at any time. This place was a perfect place to stay for us. We will be back.
