"As soon as we arrived we were greeted nicely and given the information needed and were checked in. The room was fantastic, large, clean and really well equipped, the bed was huge and very comfortable, we had a nice view and the bathroom was clean and roomy. The spa was lovely and we had a lovely relax in there . We had a nice couple of drinks in the bar and watched the football. The breakfast in the morning was really nice with plenty of choice. "We had a lovely room which had a roll top bath in a very big bathroom Staff were friendly and the pub was relaxing. Breakfast was good to set you up for the day It was in a remote area so in the evening there wasn’t anywhere to walk to and other pubs were of driving distance not walkable.."

"Situated on the ground floor during a heatwave wasn’t great. We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened. The young man who served us for the evening meal was very attentive and very polite which was nice to see. Not so the staff at breakfast."

"I was disappointed with our stay at Gloucester Robinswood Hotel. Check-in was very slow, and there were groups of teenagers hanging around the lobby which didn’t create the best first impression. Our room had no air conditioning, which was particularly uncomfortable during the 35°C heat. When I asked at reception for a fan, I was simply told they had all been distributed around the hotel, so there wasn’t one available. As our room was on the ground floor, we couldn’t safely leave the windows...

"Charming place, clean spacious rooms done up with great taste. Bathroom a little small, but all very clean and practical. Amazing breakfast cooked to order and served by friendly people. The place is well run and it is very comfortable. The village itself has little to offer, but it is a great spot from which to explor the Costwolds. We had a double room (2 adults 2 kids) which was really nice."

"Absolutely lovely building and room was lovely, stayed in room 216, floor was very squeaky in certain areas and looked like a leak patch in ceiling when you walk in but didn’t put us off. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar staff were excellent as was the very nice lady Phoebe on reception, she was lovely and welcoming , Breakfast was fabulous, had full English, small portions but very tasty, with a wide selection of buffet style breakfasts as well, cereals/ toasts ect. Would definitely stay...

"This hotel was amazing beautiful clean rooms spacious, clean comfortable beds slept like a log. The food we had evening meal and breakfast and was stunning the food tasted delicious and would highly recommend this hotel."
