"We were impressed by the friendly staff, and the overall design and decoration of the lobby area. We also liked the location of the hotel, What we didn’t like was the bedrooms. Very tricky crawling into the bed from the end, no bedside tables, no place to put a glass of water or a book, absolutely no room on either side of the bed as it is built in. Hardly any place to open up a suitcase."

"The Hotel is 15 to 20 minute walk from city centre It’s on very busy street. The air conditioning is the same temp for the whole building. We left the windows open which helped cool the room. If it was really hot might not be a good situation. The front desk was helpful but not overly zealous. Breakfast was 17 per person. Not worth it in my opinion. It’s a 30 Euro ride to the airport you could take the train and a taxi from the train station, not sure it would work out much different. ...

"If you are visiting Amsterdam, I highly recommend staying at the Notting Hill. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel has a chic, rustic, classic quality to it. It is a quiet area right on a beautiful and vibrant canal within a 10 to 15 minute walk from all of the main attractions you would visit Amsterdam for including cheese shop, chocolate shop, cafe, and bicycle shop around the corner, Not to mention, the Rijk museum is a 15 minute walk away as well as Vondel Park. "Staff was wonderful! Bed was comfortable. Snacks and cheese trolley in lobby daily was a bonus. Breakfast was outstanding. Great central location . 15 - 20 minute walk to Van Gogh, Rijskmuseum and Vondelpark. 25 minute walk to train station and close to flower market and lots of restaurants. Comfortable lobby."

"staff really helpfull and friendly, breakfast is solid. the cleaning was quick, the room was private, i wasnt bothered and everyone was very helpful. location great, rent out a bike and youre close to anywhere you wanna go, also the staff knows good night clubs and has good recommendations so overall very good experience. the hotel is def worth it"
