"This was my second attempt at booking somewhere nice to stay in Visby, at sadly it wasn't much better than the one that I had cancelled last minute on arrival. Thankfully I was only here for two nights, and the positives were that it was in a good position, fairly quiet area, and close to the Destination Gotland terminal for a very early start back to the mainland. On the plus side, the breakfast was good. Though the room was big, and I like being at the top of the hotel with the velux windows,...

"Warfsholm er et familiedrevet hotel fra 1899.De vakreste omgivelser med store trær og plener helt ned til sjøen. Veldig langgrunt i bukten, men pir med badetrapp- denne burde ha 2-3 trinn til ned i vannet. Vakker solnedgang. Lunch og middag med utsøkte retter. Veldig hyggelig og smilende betjening.Her kan man virkelig senke skuldrene og nyte roen. Vi ønsker oss tilbake."

"Very central location in Visby, close to everything. The noise from the street and the restaurant below was pretty well blocked out by closing the windows. Mind you I was there a bit off season so not a lot of tourists. The facilities are in ok condition as you could expect from the price. I didn't get my confirmation email or text so I had to contact the owner a few times but eventually i got in. I met others that had indeed got their information so I guess I was just unlucky."

"Gumbalde har blivit en väldigt fin anläggning med en fantastisk golfbana som är väl värt ett besök. Riklig och god frukost ingick. Vi hade bokat en mini svit och fick troligen det men den såg helt annorlunda ut än de bilder som visas och saknade badkar. Borde kanske visa båda utförandena. Återigen en mjuk säng som jag inte föredrar. Annars var allt toppen."

"This was a fantastic find, as a last minute booking. I'd arrived at the hotel I originally booked in Visby, but when it turned out to be a cross between a backpackers hostel & Fawlty Towers(!), I was swiftly back online to cancel that and book somewhere decent...and this place was fabulous. Located in the stunning south east of the island, it was a great base to explore the whole island. I had a beautiful duplex-style room, with my bedroom on a mezzanine, under which was a huge, modern bathroom...
