I was disappointed, but slept well.
My wife and I needed a place to stay in Lido di Ostia. I researched the internet for B&Bs in the area and came across La Dolce Sosta. Bless their hearts; to me, this particular unit is not a B&B. There was no one to greet us when we arrived and there were no instructions/signage on what to do if no one answered the door. We called the number on the reservation confirmation email, and a representative showed up, eventually. Upon entering the apartment complex, we discovered that the B&B has more of a hostel setting with a shared kitchen area and restroom. Breakfast is pre-packaged croissants, pastries, and juice boxes in the room.
The room was clean and so was our bathroom. Our room came with a parking spot, within the complex, which was great because we rented a car. All in all, it's a good place to get some rest, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a B&B. It's pretty pricey for what you actually get. My interpretation is that this is a room within a hostel within an apartment complex that's a 20 minute walk to the beach.
