We stayed there 20 years ago and the island has transformed into one gouging tourist trap. With so many other options (Dominican, Mexico, Aruba, St. Kitts) who go to this dump of an island. Nassau caters to cruise ships and has berths for 5 ships at one time. So everyone floods in for a few hours and...

"Staff was very helpful and everything was clean. There's no vending machine or ice machine that I saw. My flight was early and they let me change into my bathing suit and use the pool while I waited. Very nice"
