"We were in Newport for the Jazz Festival. The accommodations were very good, location convenient for everything. Pictures accurately depict the property. The only thing that I would suggest be improved is the wifi. We ended up using our phone hotspot to connect when we were in the room. We would stay there again."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mill Street Inn. The rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable. Fantastic location - walkable to Thames and Bellevue - lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and polite. They made excellent recommendations. I would highly recommend a stay here."

"We stayed for four nights in the beautiful bayside room. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast with pro tips for what to do in the area that day, as well as the common rooms to hang out. The location is very convenient for walking to restaurants, the Jamestown harbor, and driving over to Newport. We are sad to leave and look forward to coming back."

"They only had stairs as we needed an elevator We attempted to shorten our stay from 5 nights to two and the ow er refused So we left and were charged!!! They suggested moving us to 3 different rooms 2 different rooms each night on the 1st floor and the. Back upstairs? Made no sense.!!! They would have had plenty of time to rerent the room ?"

"Brian was an excellent host. He provided great restaurant recommendations, He recommended the pre-purchase of tickets to Breakers which turned out to be a wonderful recommendation. Also recommended Rosecliff as a second house to to tour which we enjoyed. The breakfast prepared after our one night stay was vey good. Th location is close to shopping on Thames Street."

"A room with a waterfront view is nice. Waited more than 30 minutes to just get acknowledged at the dinner restaurant by the water, then after waiting another 15 minutes of being ignored...we left. Decor is tired. There are better choices to stay in Newport. It's an expensive hotel, and should at the very least have better service."
