"Very OK hotel. We have stayed at the Fairmont across Canada and other really nice boutique hotels but The Pearl is average in comparison. No gym at this venue. Pool is smaller than those found at people’s homes. The room was very comfortable though. Shower is nice bug that’s about it. For what they charge, you are really getting a very average stay. "

"Great location, nice property. Close to Rosemary and Alys beach. Great looks, private beach. The only negative is that I reached out to the property several times prior to the trip with no response and it is a cashless property. The waitress did not tell us that and took 100 cash which included pur meal and tip . She thought 100 was her tip. The bartender informed us cashless and helped us get the money back. Other than that the pls e was beautiful ! Lots of hiking trails nearby also!"

"Hotel creeks and makes way too much noise. If you’re not staying on the 3rd floor please do not bother to stay here. You will not get good rest. Also the beds are really uncomfortable."

"Trash cans outside were all overflowing on the ground, there were no carts by the front door, our room had a dirty bathroom floor, part of the sink vanity was broken and missing, and the toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall, there was hair in the shower mat from the last guest; certainly inconvenient that a late checkout was 50 bucks, breakfast was chaotic and there was nowhere to sit, I couldn't get a receipt after checking out as they said I would get the receipt from the third-party,"

The room was clean however the air was left off so we first got there it was a musky smell but after the air conditioner ran a few minutes it disappeared however for the price we definitely would go back"

"The staff at the Osprey went above and beyond to accomodate our stay. The room was clean and surprising to us had a full stove, refrigerator and microwave. Walmart was 3mins away, so we were able to shop for food and cook while we were there. Just a 10min walk to Pier Park was great. Right on the beach. "The rooms need some serious attention when it comes to cleaning. I understand it’s an older hotel so I was not expecting luxury. I had to ask that housekeeping sweep and mop the floors. Sand was everywhere when we checked in. That wasn’t the biggest issue. The floor was a little sticky and had hairballs on the floor. I hope management reads reviews and focus on cleaning. Since the hotel is older and dated cleanliness is a must. Other than that the stay was great. The staff were extremely nice...

"Be cautious. We booked knowing it was non-refundable if we cancelled, but La Quinta cancelled the reservation and did not refund our money. My son arrived before me and tried to check in. He is 19, which is against the hotel’s rules, but this was not posted on Expedia. I was thirty minutes behind him but when they saw that he was under 21, the reservation was cancelled. "The people at the desk were very nice. The beach view was fantastic. The parking was plentiful. I didn't use the pool, but it looked pretty nice. The bathroom could use a little TLC, however it was sufficient for everything I needed. "
