"We stayed in off season. When we arrived at 4 pm, nobody was there. Another guest let us know the keys were just behind a flower box. Got in, lovely room, clean, with plenty of amenities. Good water pressure. My only wish would be that they provide wash cloths, as well as towel racks or some form of hanging and drying our towels. There not a single hook or rack in the entire room. "There was only 1 fault we could find and that was drinking in the bar, extortionate prices.Apart from that 1st class across the board .Would definitely book there again but drink in the local pubs Ship Inn ,Schooner ,Black Swan ect ."

"Loved the room it was nice and clean, the bed is very comfy too. Easy to find and check in. Loved the touch of the caramel bars next to the tea and coffee. Fast communication with the hotel contact. Would definitely stay again "

"Lovely property, decorated in a lovely way although strong smell of fish downstairs that would not go. The fridge smelt of fish and not sure if this was the issue or the damp and mould on some of the walls.The beds were not super comfy but fine for a few nights. "Lovely, clean room (Muckle). Very friendly and helpful staff. Just a few little niggles, such as the tv remote had no cover over the batteries and didn’t work properly as a result. No coffee machine or mini fridge, both pretty standard these days, even in much less expensive rooms. The decor, both room and hotel generally, is really nicely done, and overall, we had a lovely stay. No better recommendation than to say we would definitely stay there again. "
