"The rooms were very clean but the bathrooms needs a bit of a spruce up. The staff were absolutely lovely. From reception to the bar, everyone was really kind and helpful. The bar was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting there in the evening. "

"Staff were happy to deal with a couple of requests re changing the duvet and pillows to non feather/down filling and they had pre-installed a dog bed and bowl, which saved me another trip to the car thankfully. Comfortable, well equipped and dark bedroom. Very nice public areas and staff"

The grounds to the hotel are just stunning and the gym is well equipped. It would have been good to have had information in the room about the services and the hotel. The QR code didn’t work in my room. Great stay and would come back. "

"Great find for our visit to Newbury. Breakfast included, 4 options to choose from and served in the pub restaurant. Also ate there both nights, food and service excellent. Room had all you needed, large room plus walk in shower. "

"Stayed in a luxury double room which was large and comfortable. Timed slots for the spa meant it is quiet & relaxing. Evening meals in the restaurant were superb, especially the raspberry soufflé. Staff friendly & knowledgable. Would definitely stay again."
