"Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish. "This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem."
