"I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries. "Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable.
