"Wonderful hotel with only a few rooms. They have a private chef preparing the meals for you. It’s pure luxury. I have stayed in many hotels in my life, maybe 300, and this one is to be considered very special and outstanding. Top 3%. "

"Unser Zimmer (Steenbras) befand sich im ersten Stock des Haupthauses und hatte einen traumhaften und frontalen Blick auf das Meer. Das große King-Size Bett war so bequem, dass wir öfter stundenlang drin lagen, und auf das Neeer schauten. Die Managerin war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit Tischreservierungen geholfen. "Our stay was amazing! We were in and out, staying just one night, but loved our stay at The Whale on Main. Thomas was an amazing host, he walked us through where to go in town and what to see. And as we were leaving, he helped us plan the path we should take to our next destination. He even printed out a map for us that included all the stops! I would absolutely recommend staying here for a wonderful visit to Hermanus."
