"Amazing staff in all department! Very attentive and very prompt. Everything is clean and beautifully decorated. Strong AC even in the hallway. The room is very spacious. Comfortable bed. Great location."

"Staff was very attentive and polite. The resort sits right in the middle of Waikiki. Only down side was meals were less than filling. For the cost I feel that the food and portion size were small. Breakfast was very unsatisfying however the restaurant called Eggs & Things is only two doors down. Overall stay was 4.5 star"

"the place is crowded!!!!! Not really the honeymoon spot it might have been once. Now it caters to families, big family reunions, office vacations. Limited beach. There is an adult pool---but really for hanging out not for doing laps. They really need to get more beach umbrellas. I really can't figure out why they are so stingey when you pay a resort fee. The Kaiulani has beach umbrellas at the poolside, why not waikiki? Strange. Looks weird from above. 4 beach umbrellas here and there...

"I loved the cultural activities and the hotel itself is lovely, room was quiet and I’m sensitive to these things. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurants, I had a bad experience in one that the management had to resolve, and when I tried to revisit I found the staff (different staff) incredibly rude. I got the impression that service level very much depends on the tip. To be specific about one of the incidents, the restaurant staff were yelling at everyone threatening to have us arrested for...

"This hotel is located in a good area if you are planning on spending most of your time at Waikiki beaches. It’s a direct two block walk to the Duke statue and close to shops and restaurants including the International Marketplace. The rooms are simple, reminding me more of a dorm room. Outdated, and our room was musty due to ac unit and windows were so dirty on outside our view of the ocean wasn’t magical. But we were on the go most of the time, so as a place to sleep, it was fine and bed...
