Really good location and very very friendly staff. Had few issues with having to change rooms due to stay being booked in 2 bookings but the staff were very helpful in sorting it all out.

This is the most basic of basic properties, but for £54 can't really complain except for the lack of Wifi which is not on offer. Literally just used the room to sleep as stayed at work overnight and expenses didn't cover a proper hotel. The rooms could do with a make over!

The hotel is not clearly marked but it is TJs bar. There are some awkward internal steps to be aware of and the mattresses certainly in our room were awful- you sunk more or less completely through the springs. The good thing was breakfast the next morning. It was ok for a one night stay but I wouldn’t say it was worth the £54 we paid.

Great value, the service was good and the hotel was what you would expect for the price, but excellently located and free breakfast included. Well worth it if you're not expecting a luxury hotel. Only down point really was the loud pub below.

Rather tired
Whilst I understand this is not an expensive establishment, its pretty basic and could use some 'tlc' The room (11) felt a bit damp, and the plaster is peeling off the wall ( see pic ) The vinyl in the bathroom is a trip hazard (photo) & i was left with someone else's half empty bottle of water.

Cheap and (vaguely) cheerful
You get what you pay for. It’s cheap, it’s fairly central. It’s pretty noisy (because it’s fairly central). It’s not the cleanest. The facilities are pretty basic and rundown. But it’s cheap.

Quite a basic hotel - it's rooms above a pub basically - but it's in a great location, it's clean, the room was nice and warm, and the breakfast was good. The staff were also very helpful. Great value for money!

Dated dirty hotel
Hotel is very dated and in need of a revamp the room was tiny ,carpet was dirty and stained everywhere ,towels had marks on them central heating was broke as we had a small heater in the room toilet flusher was smashed and the headboard on the bed was hanging off , we have never been to such a poor run down room/hotel , Never again.

Pros: Short walk into town, reasonably priced parking nearby. Cons: Breakfast was terrible (cereal, but no milk, and two crusts of bread was literally all that was on offer!) Twin room was compact & only averagely clean and the shower didn't drain properly so was very unpleasant. No spare loo roll supplied. Quite a busy road & near railway line, so lots of noise.

Local pub/bar with rooms. Friendly welcoming staff and locals. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy and for the cost, definitely good value. A very cheap long stay car park is just a 2 minute walk away.

Leamington spa break
Had a lovely stay at Thomas James hotel. Our room was a great size plenty of space and had everything we needed.The only downfall was the noise from the road but we carnt complain as that’s what you get in the centre of town. Staff was also lovely.

I stayed for a couple of nights and it was great to be there and to meet some of the team. They're super friendly, will help with whatever is needed and the room I stayed in had all that you would ever need. I'd definitely stay again

Room at the top of very steep stairs not good for 80 plus couple. Double bed pushed up against the wall very difficult to get in and out of without disturbing partner. Very noisy until late carpet by bed very dirty. Rest of room and bedding and towels etc clean and tidy.

Very clean , comfortable, staff very helpful, accessibility to shops, restaurants, near by parking ,very nice ,but basic breakfast , would have liked a full English cooked breakfast , but never mind. Will be booking this place again. Can highly recommend , If you do not mind a little music ,coming from bar downstairs ,untill late , due to lively town centre party atmosphere ,otherwise great.
