Excellent hotel, perfect location

Excellent hotel in a perfect location for our visit. We stayed on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel. Comfortable room. Some noise from passing inebriants, but nothing to keep us awake and to be expected in such a busy area. Fantastic restaurants close by and the Assembly hall just a short walk. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved the stay. Staff were amazing, Breakfast was super tasty and great value. Beautiful lounge & bar area. Really enjoyed the Christmas switch on. Christmas huts along the Pantiles.

Lovely location in the historic part of Royal Tunbridge Wells known as The Pantiles. Lovely furniture in the room, equipped with tea and coffee facilities. However the nespresso machine, telephone and bed end boards were covered in dust.

A great hotel in the bustling Pantiles area

The hotel is on the main street accessed via a side alley with steps and parking is available across the road. A warm welcome on arrival. We had room 20 which was spacious and had a view onto the bustling Pantiles street area of TW. If you are like us a couple staying overnight for a nice dinner and a few drinks, this is actually a perfect place to stay. On the Sunday morning because we were up early, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel which is à la carte and I must say the coffee was of an excellent standard, akin with Black Sheep, so well done on that front. My partner’s sausage on sourdough was lovely and I had a light Toast/preserves which was also lovely. Service was understated but good. No air con but the fan was surprisingly effective. Enjoyed the stay.

Good location

The staff were great, the restaurant and food was good, the hotel is a little tired, my first room was unbearably hot and noisy being on a main road, but they kindly changed me to a different room with aircon, but I had to leave unexpectedly at 05.30 this morning due to an emergency at home and it was really difficult to exit the hotel because the door release button wouldn't work initially! But all ok in the end
