"The top floor room I had was just perfect for my 2 night stay. It was spotlessly clean, comfy bed, lovely linens and soft towels. A great place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. The house is very quiet (apart from the Seagulls lol!) and you’ll receive a very warm welcome. It’s close to the seafront and a 15 minute walk from the railway and bus station. Tea and Coffee provided and I was thrilled to find a Gideon in the nightstand. "

"What an excellent stay we had for 5 nights in August 2025. Katie is a marvellous host and Lugo Rock is a beautiful seaside place to stay with a quick walk to both the beach and the town centre. We loved it! Our family room was fantastic with two separate spaces with an interconnecting door. Breakfast was delicious and full English or any combination of was preordered each night. The dining room was welcoming and Trish, another lovely member of staff, was cheerful serving breakfast each day...

"This is our 3rd stay at the Old Temperance House. It is a fabulous place in the centre of St Keverne. A luxurious bedroom and bathroom and a fabulous breakfast. Kevin and Claire are lovely hosts. We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a home from home and a great base to explore the south coast of Cornwall."

"I had the loft. Beautifully furnished. I especially love the layout with bed and sofa overlooking the balcony to the field. Very calming indeed. Even the blinds created a pattern when the morning light shone through the perforations. Quite magical. The hostess was very responsive on email and obliging. Her personal touch of home made scones and Cornish cream tea was very much appreciated. Breakfast consisted of delicious croissants. There was a complimentary bow of fruit as well. The...
