"Ancient, great"

"The inside of the room was lovely with new technology for door entry, lighting etc. and we loved the wildlife and farm animals. however the outside of the property was a total mess. It looked like lots of the buildings were falling to bits and the grounds were overgrown and not well kept the restaurant was permanently closed and the shared microwave in the corridor worked but there was no cutlery"

"This location was unusually nice. Yes, the rooms are above a pub, but it was very quiet, at least while we were there. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is a bit of a walk, down the street at the local race track, which has a very secure locked gate to their lot. It was included in the price and wasn't an issue for us. The breakfast was extra special. A wide variety of items to choose from. I would return just to sit and have breakfast again. Extremely pleasantly surprised by...

"A bit complicated getting up to the room through multiple stairs & narrow/short passage ways - especially if you have luggage. The blinds above one bed were missing, so the bright light woke us up at 5 am... And hazard all over - wooden beams going across the bed so if you sat up abruptly- you hit your head. The bathroom too had a beam going across and you had to duck to use the toilet or shower. Surprised these issues are permissible for a lodging facility..."

"Lucy and her Husband couldn't have accommodated us more. From the moment we arrived Lucky was friendly, helpful with recommendations if the town. Walking distance to town filled with shops, restaurant and the beautiful water. Breakfast everyday was just delicious, eggs cooked to perfection 👌. "This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. "We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon."
