"Clean room, excellent breakfast choices—best I’ve seen in a while. Check in lady was VERY GOOD about keeping my room number and information secure from being overheard by the man in line behind me. One real problem. The window in my 1st floor room was UNLOCKED upon arrival. This is SO unsafe. Someone could already have been inside, or someone could have entered during my stay, if I had not checked this. "The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay."

"The bed is comfortable and our room was very nice. The only complaint I have was that breakfast is only available until 9:00 and the coffee is not good. We went to the close by Gathering House coffee shop for good coffee and a light breakfast."

"We left after stripping the beds to find all types of stains (my friend thought he got bit by a bedbug, we didnt find any). Some obviously blood some obviously fecal. Also they were small and uncomfortable. The “blankets” were thinner than my sheets at home. I asked for couple of extra pillows and was told they only had 1 spare. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet. The breakfast? Definitely not continental."

"The sheets and towels appeared to be clean, but the floor was filthy. I had to clean it with a towel after checking in. Shower dribbled like a septuagenarian with prostate issues. Water, what little there was, was hot, so I could was. Noisy neighbor, but that’s not the hotel’s fault, other than this price range brings in a higher percentage of riff-raff."

"No locks on the first-floor sliding windows, the connecting doors were barely secure, and the main hallway door opened an inch even when locked. Additionally, the toilet had zero water pressure and took five minutes to flush each time. The only upsides were that it is close to Cedar Point, and we saw a baby seagull in the parking lot."

"Weird self-check-in arrangement--no reception desk or staff, just an e-mail with a code to let yourself in & out and a phone number in case you need anything--very impersonal, but o.k. if you don't like dealing with people. Fresh, tidy, and trendy inside. Bedside reading lights and a chair to sit on would be nice (stools at the counter are too high for tying shoes), as would a light outside the door that doesn't attract bugs. "Breakfast was good however there is no where to eat so be prepared to carry it back to your room. Otherwise the rooms were updated and clean. TV small but good selection of channels. Bathroom and shower very good. Lots of clean towels. Will come back and recommend for anyone looking for a no fuss motel."
