Thanks for staying with us and offering your feedback. The Juniper cabin is one of our most popular. Cozy and clean. The rock fireplace and the comfy recliners make for a wonderful retreat. The vanity outside the bath area usually is a real hit. Sorry that you found it too cramped. As for the price this is one of our budget level cabins. I think if you checked around you would find that it is more than competitive.

So happy when folks like you find us and share with others. We have been upgrading all of our cabins over the past two years and beds and commodes on high on that list! Come again soon.

We are sorry that you had trouble understanding the confirmation stating clearly that you check in at the massive log building at the mouth of the canyon. We do include a photo of our main check in office and directions to the main check in facility that you have to drive right past before getting to your cabin. The pull out beds cannot be pre-made as this destroys them when they are folded back up. Sadly, it appears as though you folded it up with all of the bedding and pillow so we now have to replace the entire set. Pull out beds are for kids and not adults. We offer cabins with multiple bedrooms for that purpose. We take photos to make clear what you are renting, but we have so many options that folks get confused occasionally. The cabin experience is not for everyone and for that we apologize.

Thanks for choosing us. We actually are one of the most economical option in Ruidoso and we do not "event gouge" like some of the more traditional lodges do. We simply keep our prices even for the most part (with some limited exceptions). We also offer far more than our competition. Streaming high speed internet, full cable selection of channels, free unlimited coffee, extra stocks of towels and supplies, so you never run out of anything and cabin side parking. Thanks and please come again.

We apologize for the bridge construction and the detour. We had nothing to do with that, but it was a reality that is almost over. However, we did give you explicit instructions on how to use the short detour to your cabin and the road signs could not be more specific. The detour adds five minutes to the drive so we are surprised that you took 45 minutes. We would have happily had someone lead you if you had let us know you were that lost. But thanks for the feedback.
