"Great place "

"The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose...

"Breakfast was great! Hospitality was absolutely top notch. The pool is very clean, the water is colder than expected. Having no A/C is a change, but the area is not as warm as la fortuna. Great place in the middle of everything. "

"Excellent boutique resort with intentional service. They helped to make the experience just what I needed even reserving all the transportation and excursions. I was a guest for several days, enjoyed exceptional spa treatments, dinner, hiking the grounds, beautiful views, and complimentary events when not out exploring Costa Rica. Staff amazing! Carla goes above and beyond to communicate and help guests be welcomed. Perfect place to stay."

"Cindy, the owner, was an excellent host. Very proactively engaged in our experience from the day we booked. The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. She also arranged activities for us, which was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and large, with an outside deck. The location is remote (which is the point of booking - for that tree canopy experience) and windy drive, so...

"Everything went well. The air conditioning worked and a buffet breakfast was available. However, I was there when a youth tour was there and they ate most of some of the dishes and additional wasn't put out until they finished breakfast so there was not much when I arrived. My bad for not asking for more. The grounds were very beautiful and quiet."

Die Unterkunft ist schön gelegen und der Empfang der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir bekamen tolle Tipps für die Umgebung von der Gastgeberin. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"View is amazing, lady that works there is very good..property is run down and need better maintenance and paintings. Wifi is good and breakfast is very simple , no complain . Pool was closed because of paintings . Parking is free .please sent up pest control .that is a must . Property itself still have a lot of potential for improvement before it's too late"
