"Beyond a doubt, this was the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed in. Beautiful decor with high quality fixtures and amenities. The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. It really should be considered a 5 star hotel in every way possible. The breakfast was delicious with loads of choices for every dietery need. We were so disappointed that we were not able to spend more time in Beaune and this beautiful hotel. It will be a must visit during our next trip to France!!!!"

"A very pretty chateau with large airy rooms. Easy access to centre and easy parking. No elevator so give it a miss if you can’t take luggage up stairs. However staff did help with luggage but are only there a few hours a day. As with an old place, some quirks like not much air to toilet and toilet right by small kitchen area. Overall it was a good choice for us. Be sure to go out walking after dark to see some cool projections on buildings "
"The hotel is stunningly beautiful. MANY stairs. Not at all accessible for anyone unable to walk. Pool is lovely. We were provided with robes and slippers to wear down. The wine bar has a good selection with varying prices. We had the Santenay, Grand Cru. Staff were extremely polite and professional and spoke English. Parking was on the street a short walk from L’Abbaye."
