"We arrived about 6pm. We went through from the bar area to the hotel section and we’re very warmly greeted, given all the info and made to feel very welcome. The room was cosy and had good views out. The decor and particularly the bathroom needed a bit of TLC. It all worked but needed the odd bit of paint here and there and maybe new carpets in the halls. Breakfast was fantastic! Overall very good and great for the below average last minute price we paid. The location is stunning!"

The accommodation was clean, smart and well laid out and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The breakfast was great with a nice variety of cooked options. "This was a magnificent old coach house with a very historical feel to it, but modern conveniences. It was a spacious room with very comfortable bed and loved the window seat. I had breakfast and a light dinner in the restaurant, both of which were excellent. There was no lift so not recommended for people with mobility issues."

"Very nice ground floor room with small patio overlooking the garden. Room was very comfortable with all the amenties that one needs, We had a good dinner with our grandkids. Breakfast buffet was good with fresh farmhouse bread etc. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful."

"Friendly staff, very nice room with coffee machine and complementary drinks in the fridge. We had nice dinner and breakfast in the pub, was convenient for us to stay one night in the area. The only downside was the sofa bed was not so comfortable and really squeaky! But the kids slept ok and we appreciated being able to stay with our 2 kids in the room."
