The elevators were out and we got lost a couple times getting to our room, and every single staff member that we would run into each time was so helpful and kind in finding where we were supposed to go! The staff stated our card had declined when in fact, it was a security check from our bank that we did clear, and should have been charged following clearance. We basically arrived and didn’t have a room anymore. I would assume this is fairly common that banks would require customers to verify a transaction in a different city, but instead of reaching out to us, the hotel gave our room to someone else and we were left having to book a different...
