Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands
The resort was lovely, but rooms are not soundproof and neighbours talked loud in the middle of the night. Restaurant for dinner was empty and food was not good. Strange because their breakfast was good in the mornings.

The Duke of Marlborough Hotel
This is an old, elegant hotel with dated furnishings, at least in my room. Parking was across the street and down a lane to behind a building. Not at all convenient.
