"This was an excellent stay! Anytime I’m going to New York, I will be staying here. The place is so clean, very secure (three locks on the door). The staff was consistently helpful. And the $10 coupon that they gave you for breakfast is quite substantive because the café has delicious food that will fit the budget. I had quiches that were $10, or sandwiches that were $10. Haven’t seen that kind of price in the upper west side in New York. I really enjoyed my stay."

"The rooms are nice size and the location is great, but this place has seen it's best days some years back. The majority of the staff was very nice but when we had an issue with the shower and called and were told they would be right up, we came back 8 hours later and no one attended to the matter. "Across the street there’s a market where you can buy food for your stay. I was told that each unit had its own kitchenette because the building used to be an apartment building converted to a hotel. Was very convenient. If you’d like to have a cocktail there is also a liquor store right next-door and a nice restaurant. We stayed because we were attending any event at the Beacon theater. Very convenient! I did have to park my car two blocks up at the champion parking lot ended up being around...

Only complaint is there was only 1 elevator working for a few of the days we were there which made it hard having to wait 20+ minutes for an elevator one way.
