Room was clean and quite. Location is great with quick access to multiple subway stations, a market, restaurants, and Central Park. We were on the back side of the hotel which doesn't have nearly as good of a view as the front. Lighting in corridors is very oddly designed and downright dark at the elevator area. On property amenities are non existed other than a fitness room. Complimentary 2 bottles of water in the room everyday was nice though. We only make one big trip a year and I wasn't clued into what a "Hilton Club" is. Upon checking in we were offered what can best be described as a time share presentation on joining the "Club" in exchange for Hilton points. We declined and weren't bothered with it again. I get it, they are trying to sell the "Club", but given that I wasn't expecting to have a sales pitch thrown at me as soon as I walked in the door it did give off kind of a car salesman feeling. Just be prepared if your not in the club that you'll be pitched to as well.
