"Tucked in the forest, down a country lane is the Wetherley Inn, a complete gem of a Inn/B n B. It features a stunning garden including a pool worthy of a French Chateau picture, pond, streams, fountains and gardens full of bees, butterflies and other woodland creatures. "A lovely apartment overlooking Sooke Basin, clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. The apartment is on the upper floor ("eagles nest" and we saw an eagle), so be prepared to climb a long flight of stairs. "The property is a very quiet getaway from all the buzz of Victoria. Breakfasts were hearty, healthy home cooked and tasted amazing. Cathy and Errol were lovely hosts and offered info on sites to see and places to get some good food, because it was our first time on the island.
