I regret leaving a negative reply because the staff are so kind and obviously care. However, my room reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. At first i thought it was just remnants of a previous guest but apparently it was axtual smoke entering my room from the rooms above me that allowed smoking. As I did not realize this during my stay and only learned of the smoking rooms above me upon my checking out when I mentioned it to the emoloyye at the desk, i did not bother to comolain to the management. They did offer to move me to a different room if I stay here again. I probably won't stay again.
I made a reservarion nearly 24 hours in advance yet had no towels in my room upon arrival. There was no phone in my room so I had to walk back downstairs to the office window to ask about towels. Towels were brought to my room about 45 minutes later.
The fact that rhis motel does not have a lobby but guests must interact with management theough a window is a huge red flag that this is not a preferable place to stay.
The toilet had evidence of the precious guest. There were no extra toilet paper rolls available. The linens smelled like rubber from a dryer. And although not filthy, it was not as clean as I would have liked.
Holes in the bathroom door. Homeless and prostitutes on property.
There was a functioning mini frige and microwave, but no extra chair to sit and eat. aTo be fair, it is about the cheapest motel in the area. You DO get what you pay for.
