"The hotel itself looks dilapidated around the corners (elevator, lobby, front of building). Nevertheless the room were very comfortable (no A/C because of the central system was out of service "WOW" - they provided a fan that helped, nevertheless the central system was set for heating "No A/C). Room service is not done daily, it was done in our third day because we requested it. Bathroom toiletries two towels for four days, one soap and one shampoo - unless you go to the front desk and ask for them. Is not worthy because of the location is far away from the old town and all landmarks. I will not pick on a future travel. Exterior needs a lot (A LOT) of cleaning and good gardener. This make the hotel look abandoned."

"Checking in was great, fast and friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast was great, we were really early for our check in but the staff made accommodations for us to hangout in the vip lounge, we were able to relax and stay warm. Thanks the staff for going out of their way, to look after us."

"Love the valet parking. Location is close to all things downtown walking distance. Great ambience in the dining area and bar. Rooms clean and comfortable."

"The room was clean and comfortable and not over priced, it had a mini-fridge and a single cup coffee maker. 10 minute drive to the airport. Perfect for what we required. Had to leave before the continental breakfast so I can't comment on that. Overall, good experience."

"First two nights there was no house keeping. I was told the hotel didn’t have enough linen to change the bedding and also they were short staffed. This was felt at check in, I wasn’t able to check in until 4pm which was incredibly frustrating as I needed the room to change for a conference. Check out is 11am so they had plenty of time to clean the rooms. I got the impression they only had a couple of people working in house keeping. The room was nice and spacious and breakfast was nice. Location was very central and good for amenities. Lots of homeless in Ottawa in general so wasn’t the nicest place to walk at night. We saw someone getting arrested outside the hotel door."

"Over all the hotel was fine. Given the price I was disappointed in the fitness room and that breakfast was not included. In these areas this hotel fell short of its competitors in the area and I likely won’t be back "

"Checked me into a different room than what I booked, then overcharged me for it. After Expedia stepped in, they issued a refund but on the wrong credit card. No response when I ask for an accurate receipt and charge as this is a business trip. Last time I stay there, very unfortunate. This used to be a go-to."
