"We were on a cycle tour and we left our bikes locked up safely in the entrance way. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in the Curiosities room. The hotel is in a characterful building and is thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It was a shared bathroom, which we actually had to ourselves, again nicely decorated and clean. "We had a very nice time at Anne Marie's place. She was really welcoming and helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and straightforward. She gave us great information about what to see and do on the area too. The location is very good, in a quiet place, but close to supermarkets and a few lakes with bars and restaurants. The accomodation was very clean and good. Breakfast was lovely and had a good array of foods: the traditional items expected for a continental breakfast - cereal, butter,...

"Staff is not friendly or sympathetic towards young kids. Breakfast with flys all over cured meat and cheese - overpriced and unsanitary. Don’t eat here. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we left after 1 VERY hot miserable night. It was so hot my kids couldn’t sleep and were dehydrated the whole night. Our smallest child was almost to the point of heat stroke. We just wanted to leave as fast as we could and have some sleep somewhere else even though we already paid for 2 nights to tell you...
