"This hotel is definitely geared towards people visiting Bardstown to explore the bourbon industry. Neither of us like bourbon but still had a great visit. The hotel is really well done. The food was wonderful and the staff was super friendly. The hotel is only 1 year old so everything is shiny and new. "

"We had reserved and paid for a 2 bed room but were given a single bed with a roll away. We were not given any advanced notice of the change and were not able to cancel and look for other accommodations. It was very hard to shower as the curtain did not reach the floor and had no barrier preventing the shower floor from flooding."

"The Daniel Boone room is above the bar so it was very noisy until midnight. I wish the hotel would have notified us of this soon enough so we could have tried to change rooms. They didn’t notify us until it was too late to cancel or change the reservation."

"We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Maple Hill is a piece of living history and it was a privilege to stay there. The owners are excellent stewards of this absolute gem. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Every detail in the house is stunning. We took time to look at everything inside and outside so that we could absorb the beauty of the home and property. And the breakfast was BETTER than a restaurant! Getting dessert in the evening was such a lovely treat and a romantic...

"The first room we were given had some weird splatter on the ceiling, tv and floor. There was also a wasp in the room. We asked for a diff room this one was much cleaner but smelt like cat pee."
