"A wonderfully quirky, interesting and special place to stay, monsieur is a delightful and very helpful host. Lovely breakfast is served in an old mill room, with the watermill leat running through the adjoining room… the whole property is quite amazing. Although it is sited in the midst of countryside, it is an easy 15 to 20 minute walk into the centre of Pons, with its medieval tower, town square and some lovely restaurants. We loved it there and would certainly book again should we come this...

"Due to the wildfire in Bordeaux, we changed our hotel to O’Nice and stayed for 2 nights, the location is perfect for sightseeing around the region, took us 35 mins driving to Cognac, and 40 mins to Royan.
Our room was not big, but a/c was quite good in such hot weather. Parking space is generous and very secure, and the restaurant next to the hotel is always busy, we’ll give it a try next time."

"Je ne passais qu’une seule nuit à Saintes seule pour visiter un ami à l’hôpital.
L’accueil de Claudine fut très chaleureux et tonique. Elle me reçue dans sa maison de ville où elle loue 2 chambres. La mienne était spacieuse, salle de douche récemment rénovée, wc séparé. Propreté impeccable. Au plein coeur de la ville, pas un bruit. Elle m’a conseillé un restaurant juste à côté tout à fait bien et le lendemain matin l’ai pu, ainsi que l’autre locataire, prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse...

"Très bon accueil de la part de Monsieur Muller. Maison de caractère rénovée avec goût. Malgré une arrivée tardive, j'ai été très bien renseigné pour entrer dans les lieux. Dommage que je ne sois pas resté plus longtemps pour profiter de la piscine qui un attrait supplémentaire. Je recommande cet endroit."

Definatley a one nighter but good for that with a massive e leclerc hypermarket very close by with an excellent lunchtime cafe good fod and cheap.
Siantes is a delightful town with interesting city centre streets, a beautiful cathedral and loads of cheap parking. recommeneded."

"On our arrival after six hours travelling in a heatwave we were informed that the air conditioning wasn't working. From the sign on the door it was obviously not a recent problem. We feel we should have been told prior to our arrival when we would have had chance to book alternative accommodation. As it was we had no choice but to accept. The fan in one of the rooms was broken and could not be angled. We were told there were no spares, neither was there anywhere to get cold water. My grandson...
