The room was small but adequate, especially since we were only there for one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located for the cathedral and shopping.

I stayed in a single room that was adequate for a one night stay. It was spotlessly clean and had a good bathroom. There were no drawers for clothes, and the hanging recess had space for 2 hangers and was blocked by the iron and ironing board. This makes it less attractive for a longer stay. I found the mattress too firm for my comfort and would recommend a topper. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was spot on.

It has a lovely welcoming, family feel to the hotel. Always a pleasure to revisit, it feels as though I’ve never been away when I do.

The staff were very nice and always helpful. The only thing i did not like was that the toilet in the room was too close to the wall and my knees would hit the wall if i tried to sit straight on the toilet so I always had to be sideways. It was very awkward.

Always have a lovely and comfortable stay here! Everyone is so friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is perfect too. Can’t wait to go back.

A clean, quiet and well located hotel. The rooms are very small with few amenities (no mini fridge, ice machine, fitness room, etc). There is no elevator so keep this in mind if you have multiple bags/suit cases and can't easily carry them. The breakfast was quite expensive (15 GBP each) and is only available until 10:00 AM. The bed was comfortable enough but not great. There is daily room cleaning and kind staff which is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we were not able to check in on time due to the hotels delay and when requesting late checkout were informed that only 30 minutes later could be accommodated. Overall, our stay was fairly average.

So, having explained an irritating medical condition I had and asked if it would be okay to use the charging bay without charging, the front counter assistant said it would be fine. I have now received a fine for £100 for using it. The breakfast was at best okay. but I certainly would not pay for it a 2nd time. It’s centrally based and advertised parking, while also taking away 4 of the parking spaces for charging, which are frequently not in use.
