"Our stay at the British Colonial was extremely disappointing. Our first room, #153, had a beautiful view of the pool, gardens, and ocean, but it smelled strongly of sewage, making it unpleasant to spend time in the room. The next morning, Mackenya at the front desk was helpful and moved us to Room #405. Unfortunately, while the sewer smell was gone, the room had multiple serious issues. The air conditioning was noisy and then stopped working during the night, the bathroom lighting system did...

"The room was very clean, stocked with towels and dove products. Breakfast is a mix of Bahamian and American cuisine. Very nice layout. Parking can be a little tight, but otherwise, its a great property."

"There was 2 major leaks in the hallway exactly by room 306 Not only did it stink it was extremely wet and as we all was by water splashed down on us The TV in the room did not work The bathrooms got clogged day 1 The water pressure was extremely low And I saw a big roach or water bug in the hallway by our room I called 3 times to address the issue to no response We finally had to request management Very awful experience and this was my 4th time at this property"

"We enjoyed the location which was away from the large, commercial, stereotype complexes that try to keep you in their “hotel bubble.” This is a small and quiet place that offers tranquility. It has a charming beach front with trees. You are away from the congested traffic, 11 minutes south from the airport and close to other beaches in the area. A 15 minute drive to Clifton Memorial park offers pristine beaches that are natural and isolated. A 2 minute walk from the Villas takes you to a scuba...

"The room wasn’t a hotel. It was an apartment. The apartment had visible black mold growing on the walls and the furniture. And sheets were slept in and dirty and the mattress was dirty. The sinks also hadn’t been cleaned. "
