"I love the Outer Banks Motel and used to stay there 15 - 16 years ago. However, now it needs some upgrading. Supposedly we had the coolest room in the motel (Room B) but we were very hot, and it was only in May! The HVAC needs some work! Also this dear place needs to install a better toilet in Room B. The tiny toilet there is probably 30 years old. It is coming loose from its mooring and you feel like you are going to get bucked off! That was even after the maintenance man came in and worked on...

"Difficult review to do - this area has been damaged by hurricanes and it’s very evident in surrounding area. This mom and pop type motel was built in the late 50’s - a small one story brick building with only 11 units. The owners/ managers aren’t on site. When we pulled in, we were ready to leave. HOWEVER - the owner happened to be there and showed us the units. They were spotless. Floors were clean, beds had nice white linens, towels were big white and fluffy.
