"I got bumped from a flight out of Marco Polo Venice airport so I was forced to find accommodations until the following morning. I elected to go for something closer to VCE, preferably with a shuttle from and back to the airport. While the Crowne Plaza advertises a free shuttle they only provide it if you reserve it 24 hours in advance. I learned this after securing the reservation so I had to cough up 45€ for a taxi to get there. The Crowne Plaza is only about 16km from the airport but it...

"We loved having the shuttle to Venice and the airport available to us for a little extra cost. It saved a lot of time, headache, and energy!! We also enjoyed hanging out with the bartending staff in the evenings. They were so friendly!"

"Easy 20 minute bus ride into Venice. The bus stop is just across the hotel and a bit down towards the gas station. Nice, clean property in a quiet neighborhood with a view of Venice from the terrace. The lobby was done up nicely as well as the back patio. Shuttle bus to and from airport was an additional charge, but available. The front desk staff and bar tender were friendly and spoke English."

"We enjoyed a very good one-night stay at the DC International whilst passing through Padova. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with special mention to Marco and Georgia on reception who made us feel very welcome and gave lots of useful information. The bar and restaurant staff likewise were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel with free parking was convenient, and the room had all you would expect in a modern hotel."

"This is the last time we'll stay here unfortunately. We had good experiences before. This time, the fire alarm went out each night, we were told because someone was smoking in their room. The manager didn't know how to turn them off. This severely affected us for the next day. There were some other minor problems, including not checking for and telling us when our baggage arrived late from the airport. We had to hunt around and find them ourselves."

"Fabulous hotel, great value for such a luxury experience. Being only 15 mins away by boat from central Venice makes it the right choice. After hot days strolling the city, to arrive back at the hotel and take a cool swim in the excellent pool made all the difference. Great roof top restaurant with incredible views of the city and lagoon, superb breakfast on a lovely cool terrace, very nice outside bar serving perfect cocktails, lovely room that needed nothing. "Amazing hotel and located on the island of murano. The ferry takes you to main Venice in about 10-15 minutes and they come every 10 minutes so don’t let its location steer you away from this hotel. Loft style rooms were nice as well. I would avoid the breakfast though, it was nothing to rant about. Otherwise an amazing state and they have a free water taxi to the Venice airport."
