I would not want to be there again. Paying $220/night to stay in a motel next to the road and school playground does not worth it. The place is big with two queen beds and a table, but it was not quite clean. The staff isn’t friendly. When in the morning for check out, there weren’t anyone at all but a key drop sign. Parking is kind of empty, but there is not amenities at all.

Friendly staff, clean room, AC was nice, didn’t really try the WiFi since we weren’t in the room too much, overall, it was a really nice experience and would definitely stay here again. It was also close to all the restaurants and markets we wanted to go to.

A clean room and a comfy bed characterize this place. The front desk staff is helpful. The location is good, near the surf quarter, and with a bit of short walking you can find a couple of good pubs and eateries in the area. I would stay here again.

I live in San Clemente and only booked this hotel because my power company notified me that they would be replacing a pole, leaving my home without electricity for about 12 hours. Since it was a local stay, I didn’t expect much—just a safe, comfortable place to spend the night. I checked in early to drop off my belongings before heading back to work. When I returned after 9:00 PM, my key cards didn’t work. I had to go back to the front desk to get them reprogrammed. Once I finally accessed my room, I realized that although it was technically on the second floor from the back of the property, it was actually street level in the front. When I tried to lock the street-facing window, it would not secure properly. After some effort, I managed to get the old locking mechanism to catch. To test it, I stepped outside and pushed on the window—and it opened easily after just a few movements. This was extremely concerning from a safety standpoint. To make matters worse, when I tried to re-enter my room, the key cards failed again. I’ve traveled enough to know how to properly store hotel key cards, so this was not user error. I had to ring the bell and wait for assistance. This time, I was given only one key card, and it was a completely different type than the originals. While the room itself was clean, the towels, sheets, and comforter were extremely worn and thin—clearly overused and in need of replacement. I would not recommend this hotel. Nice clean basic room without carpet. Hard floors which I appreciate. , very nice staff, great location close to beach. No WIERD smells! Safe feeling. I could hear a little traffic from the road. I could hear the people in room next to me late into the night 1-2 am. If I could sleep with the tv on it would have been great but I need silence.
