It was a very comfortable place to stay centrally located within the city. The neighbourhood surrounding it can be a bit sketch for a couple of blocks but for the price it is prime location. The staff was super helpful and the rooms were clean and comfy.

I stayed here almost one year to the date. And this is still the sweet spot for me in this city. Central location with easy access to public transit, reasonable rate, cleanliness, comfy bed and super informative friendly staff, what more could one need. I have no doubt, I will be back next year.

The room was very clean and was serviced every day. It was at the back of the hotel so although it is situated on a busy street it was relatively quiet. Towels were changed frequently. The location of the hotel is ideal. It’s very central and close to the metro. Busses stop right outside.

We stayed here for two nights and had a really nice experience! I had read the reviews mentioning that the place was on the smaller side, so I knew what to expect when we arrived. The front desk receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Other than the loose outlet for charging, everything else was great. The location was also really convenient and close to all the main attractions, which made getting around super easy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

I would stay here again however - if you are sensitive to smoke beware. There is a constant smoke/burning smell from a business nearby.

Muy buena opción si buscas un lugar solo para dormir. Muy cómodo, limpio y acogedor. Ubicado sobre una de las calles principales de San Francisco, con opciones de transporte público en la puerta del hotel. Zona muy tranquila y segura, comparada a otras zonas de la ciudad. La gente de la recepción siempre muy atentos y amables!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights it was a very small room but it was just us too we enjoyed our stay overall , the staff and housekeepers were helpful. It’s honestly not ideal for people with kids but for a couple for aren’t high maintenance and are going to be out most of the time it’s ideal the location was great we were around a lot of good places for tourist

We stayed in room 36 and it was a cute room we were excited for the cute purple wall and it had a decent view but there were brown stains on the towels and the bedding and also the side of the mattress itself… the staff was very friendly but definitely could use deeper cleaning. Was a cute small room for couples though and the shower was nice but small :)

This was not a place I would ever stay again. The pictures make it seem a lot nicer. I was a woman staying solo and didn't feel safe leaving the hotel at night. There was a man with his pants down in the doorway and the man at the front desk would not assist me in exiting the building at 10 pm at night. He said that this is "normal" and would not ask the man with his pants down to leave the doorway. I checked out a day early because it was so sketchy and the staff was not willing to help when I asked directly.

The only positive thing i can say is that the Edwardian is safe, and reasonably affordable. Unless you’re in a pinch, I would recommend you stay somewhere else.

I saw a lot of complaints about the front desk before I arrived, but they were actually really helpful during my stay. The area was amazing, and it was easy to get around since you can take public transit pretty much anywhere. The only weird thing was that the light in my room turned off by itself! it happened twice. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again.
