Our room had a very musty smell, like wet (maybe moldy) carpet. This property definitely needs to be updated via remodeling (replacing old tiled shower, carpet, etc).

I think truly the only complaint is that we couldn't find the remote anywhere in our room. We were only staying one night, and it was after a concert, so it wasn't a big enough deal for us to go bug the office about.

Room 207 was renovated and it was like staying in a LAB; like someone was going to enter with a lab coat on and exam me. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING RELAXING about the Lighting or decor. BE PREPARED TO GIVE THEM a $150 "Deposit". I made the mistake of giving them $150 cash and when I went to check out 18 hours ahead of schedule, they said they don't have a record of my deposit. I'm 77 years old and was here for a very important doctor's appt. The rate was cheap, but they will try to keep your deposit. You've Been WARNED.

Good location, first come first serve parking. Rooms are dates but weren’t bad. The carpet is gross and room could use some love but bed was comfy and no complaints. I will be back.

Very nice property just off of Van Ness Ave. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The room was spacious but it took nearly 5 minutes for the shower to become hot. I would stay here again.

The room had very poor lighting in the bathroom, to the point where you could not see well at all. When I informed the front desk they said wait for the manager to return. Thirty minutes later I went back to the front desk and was told the same thing. Finally I was given a different room. Why didn't they offer this immediately? I never saw the manager.

Muy bueno
Excelente opción y aunque no tuve problemas con el parqueo,, en caso de que el hotel tenga una alta ocupación el parqueo podría ser un problema. Aclaro que la habitación estuvo excelente.

A roof over our head, nothing more.
I wouldn’t willingly stay here again. The floors were stained completely. The plugs were missing covers. The bathroom light was out. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. The shower took 10+ minutes to get warm and actually ran out of hot water by the time my kids and I were done with showers. The refrigerator was unplugged and there were burn marks behind it so I’m assuming it almost caught fire or did at some point. It was a roof over our head for the time in the city. Nothing more and not worth staying at if you have a better option.

The room was decent for the price, however the room smelled extremely musty. The floors are carpeted and absorb humidity. We will not stay again.

The place is worn down and dated, but for the price in the area this was a great deal. I never felt unsafe and the location is great. I would say that the chairs in the room and the carpet have reached their end of life and the vents looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years but the bathroom was clean and the bed was clean as well. Overall, you get what you pay for.

N importe quoi.j ai réservé en novembre. Payable à l hôtel. Le jour même l hôtel a essayé de se faire payé pendant que je voyage dans l avion. Arrivée à l'aéroport j appelle pour confirmer mon arrivée. Au checking ma chambre avait été annulée..l agent de réception très comprensif nous donne ma chambre. Je paye en cash tout va bien.Le lendemain il me dit que ma chambre est réservée donc que je dois changer de chambre..je vous joins l etat ,3 nuitées sous classées. Douche sale,un lit appoint au lieu 2 king size.

Delightful Inn
The price for the room was very reasonable so I was delighted to discover such a lovely room, with a comfortable bed, large bathroom, a table and chairs and a microwave and refrigerator. It was very attractive with the wood furniture and the beautiful armoire.

affordable & nice place
very convenient. LOVED the area. the hotel was perfect for what we need working long days in the city. free parking. the carpets need to be replaced so bring slippers. other than that i don’t have complaints about my stay.

Property owner lies to your face and I was totally disappointed with his actions. Ask to change rooms was told no rooms available, but was barely half full.

Heater didn't work....ok I get it...Shower pressure was zero and I mean barely enough water to get wet. But that's the hot water full blast so if you wanna wash your hair you have to turn on Cold now your taking a cold shower with no heater in the room. Ok so they give me a portable heater out of a closet probably not been used since last year and unsafe. especially with the cracked outlets and the smoke alarm that doesn't work.But my friend is sick and I need to stay another day. I ask to switch rooms and he says none available...I really hate when business owners think your stupid. They were not even close to being full. Liar....I want a refund for both nights

Advertised free breakfast. It didn't have it and the office was closed every morning we went to get coffee. Had to pay $25 per day for an extra car and $40 extra for early check in and it had to be cash. Our room was huge and clean. You could fit 3 more beds in there, the beds and lighting were really good. However, the closet had not rod, no door and no hangers to hang clothes. The water pressure was not good in the shower or bathroom sink they both trickled and the shower never got hot. The wet bar faucet had all the water pressure.

Stayed at this place many years ago. I bit run down under the new owners. Initially given room next to elevator which has a swinging door (old!) and every time someone got in and out was a loud bang. New owners VERY inflexible on check-in time, as I arrived about 2 hours early. They did move me later. Carpeting etc has burn holes, wear. The place definitely has gone downhill.

Nothing really to complain about except being waken up by a disturbance at 4 am from the police wrestling with someone on the 3rd floor and water pouring down. Otherwise then that it was a quiet stay.

While NHM Inn is not new, it was clean, good location, quiet, great price with parking included. We'll continue to stay there when we visit SF

Très déçus !
Personne à l’accueil lorsque nous sommes arrivés.Nous avons dû attendre 35 minutes avant de pouvoir faire le checkin. Aucune excuse formulée par le manager, lorsqu’il est enfin arrivé en voiture d,on ne sait où... De même le lendemain lorsque je l’ai interrogé sur le lieu du petit déjeuner, son enseigne lumineuse indiquant « free parking’ free wifi, free continental breakfast ». Sa seule réponse fut : « No breakfast ». A souligner également : le lobby sentait particulièrement mauvais. Les nouveaux managers ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur, car les chambres sont correctes, l’emplacement est top, quartier sympa et clean, free parking de surcroît.

If you aren’t keeping a car in the city during your stay, there are a lot of better options in this price range in the city. The property is really run down. Stained and torn carpets and wallpaper. Housekeeping does a good job cleaning, but unlike a lot of properties in the city, this place hasn’t been renovated in an awfully long time
