"We were pleased considering how affordable the hotel was. Good options for dinner - in the mall. Shower and bath were particularly nice. Breakfast was ok, and didn’t cost us anything. It was a nice quiet location after a busy day in Gibraltar."

"Gorgeous hotel and a lovely stay. The staff were very accommodating and while we did have a problem with our room- a leak from an air con unit- they were not in control of- they were quick to move us to another room. Food was good- with three restaurants to choose from. The gym facilities were excellent and the indoor pool a welcome extra as we visited at the end of October. Mornings could be a bit chilly but the afternoons were beautiful and spent by the outdoor pools. Would recommend."

"We had a brief stay at Hotel Mir Octavio and it was perfect for us. Our ferry unluckily arrived hours late so we had very little time to explore Algeciras. Check in was a breeze. We got an excellent night’s sleep - the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The location of the hotel was great - we ventured out into the city for some breakfast before our 11am bus. We easily walked into town and visited the square, the old city wall, and a market. There were numerous cafes open and offering...

"What a fantastic place. Somewhere to relax, eat well and recover. Great service at all stages. A modest menu choice wise but excellent in quality, locally sourced products full of flavour. A family run hotel and it shows. The whole ambiance is spot on. A place for the summer, nice pool and gardens with patios to sit out on and enjoy food and wine. For winter I spotted a fab lounge with a big working fireplace. Rooms are light, airy and very comfortable. Small terrace to sit outside. "
