"I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay."

"The staff, we found to be friendly, helpful and efficient. Room bedding and towels were clean with replacements available if required. Rooms were serviced alternate days, but also on request. Breakfasts were well presented with plenty of choices from hot, cereals, fruit, pastries etc We had dinner most evenings, which we enjoyed, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Also sandwiches were available if requested at lunch time in the bar."

"What a superb gem of a hotel. Location is ideal for travelling with plenty of car parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide selection of continental and superbly cooked and varied hot options. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. Originally booked one night travelling south and then decided to stay again a few nights later when travelling back. Will definitely be back."

"I appreciate this is a eco hotel but for the price paid it was unacceptable levels of heat. They say that there is an air filtering system. It was absolutely boiling and uncomfortable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. You have to go outside to get this to be honest with you when you have a short breakaway you just would like to have reasonable facilities in your room. We had to queue for the lift. I would definitely not recommend a stay stop here"

"Inchecken ging moeizaam. We moesten borg betalen terwijl de kamer vooraf betaald was. De borg zou verrekend worden met het eten. Maar bleek niet mogelijk te zijn. Waardoor we dat direct moest betalen in de restaurant/bar. Kamer/badkamer was schoon en groot. Er was geen airconditioning wat jammer was gezien dat heel erg warm was. Er was een ventilator op de kamer die hopeloos was. Er was genoeg keuze voor ontbijt. Personnel was vriendelijk."

"The hotel is OK. Our room was on the groundfloor and seemed a bit tired. It wasn’t a large bed and we were kept awake from 4 -5am by the television in an adjoining room. Parking at the hotel is easy (reduced payment for guests) and it’s convenient for the M5 and Exeter airport."

"This was my second stay here whilst visiting my son at Exeter University. Moto Velo is <20 mins from the Uni Campus, This place caught my eye as it allows dogs to stay at a reasonable price, much better than the ridiculous amount some of the hotels in Exeter were charging. "We stayed for three nights in a family room for three. The room is specious and clean. We have a dog with us and Kings Arms is 100% dog friendly. We stayed in a room quite close to some cooling system which was required to keep turned on to keep the beer cold (I think) but it produced a constant mechanically nose which became very noticeable in the evening.
