"Location excellent for attractions. Reception was nice and a bit quirky. Room was a bit bland although recently refurbished. Breakfast was adequate. Air conditioning in the room would have been nice, a fan was provided. If the temperature had been any warmer it could have been a problem. We managed to get free parking at the front of the hotel which was a bonus, spaces were limited."

"Zeer leuk en mooi oud Engels hotel met tuin en buitenzwembad en spa. Heel relaxed en rustig in de natuur gelegen en zeer dichtbij het New Forest Nat. Park. Dichtbij leuke plaatsjes om te bezoeken."

"The hotel is in need of an update, with attention to detail for any renovations. The walls of the hotel rooms are thin and you can hear people in neighbouring rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially given one of our party were being disturbed by a party in the neighbouring room. Staff moved them to another room. Breakfast was ok. The spa/swimming pool is in need of some tlc."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay . On arrival found we had everything we needed in our lovely clean room which was being serviced daily as were the restocking of nice biscuits , choice of beverages etc on tea tray. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and very friendly, the breakfasts were always very delicious and felt like a proper feast to start the day . Short walk to beach and high street very good frequent bus services from there to all over the island which meant we hardly used...

"Really nice hotel and we really enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful gardens / pool area, however our room was directly above a very noisy kitchen fan which started (and woke us up) before 6.30am and didn’t turn off until 9.30pm."

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

"What a lovely hotel clean modern beautiful rooms great outdoor area with pool had a fab pimm’s at the bar. Excellent staff very helpful/ friendly amazing breakfast can not fault anything will stay again."

"Loved our stay and so did our dog, especially the doggie sausage for breakfast! I made full use of the swimming pool and hot tub and had it to myself. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will come back."
