"Absolute joy. Pleasant oasis in the middle of Agrigento region. 15 min from the Valley of the Temples and 30 min from the Scala dei Turchi. Former summer villa of local Bishop now an organic farm to table high end boutique hotel. Home made soap, shampoo, pasta, bread, olive oil and very comfortable beds with all cotton and linen bedding! Beautiful gardens and pool with peacocks wandering around. We stayed 2 nights and eat at the hotel every night. Reasonable prices and fresh home cooked...

"The Villa Athena is an amazing luxury hotel with an amazing location. With a direct view of Greek temples, as well as private access, sets this property apart from others. In addition the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed our private balcony with direct access to the property and pool area. The staff was welcoming and attentive.
