"Front desk was very nice.
The air condition in our room smelled like the filters have not been changed for a very long time. Bed was comfy. Wish they had 4 pillows instead of two. It was a small room, and you can hear the cars from the freeway. Parking was easy, plenty of it. Room was clean."

"We loved everything about this property. Very close to State street and in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and everything that was offered inside of the rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were great! I just really wish the property had a pool and hottub! Just a personal preference lol We all favored the lounge area on the third floor!"

"The location is great, but the Inn itself is pretty rundown. Some of the painting on the building and in the room was incomplete. There’s no AC, but the bed was comfy. We made it work, and it wasn’t the worst stay. The staff is friendly. If you just need a place to crash and don’t plan to spend the majority of your time in the room, this will do. Nothing spectacular."

"The Inn just isn’t what it claims to be. You’re facing the 101, it’s loud, there’s no quick beach access, dated property, and staff isn’t available from 8A-8p as advertised. "We had a lovely stay at the Hideaway. Our room was the perfect size and simply adorable. It had a mini-fridge, a fireplace and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also nicely appointed and there was good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was outstanding and the host/receptionist/chef was super nice. It was in walking distance to State Street, the Funk Zone and Stearn's Wharf. The parking space was a little tight but that's the only negative thing I can say about this place....
