"This was a quaint little place, just a 5-minute walk across the bridge from the center of town. The rooms were decent-sized, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. My room had a terrace overlooking the garden area. The bathroom was large enough to move and shower, with plenty of hot water. The hosts were available and friendly, and the breakfast was quite sufficient, and served with a smile. "

"Aside from the staff and the hotel's stunning views, I DON'T recommend this place at all. Its access is very risky because there is no paved road; it's a narrow, dangerous route with mud and slippery stones. The hotel has a beautiful design, but it is not in the best condition, as some amenities like the pool and jacuzzis sometimes malfunction. The rooms lack air conditioning, which becomes a problem after a day in the heat and pool. They only have an old, noisy fan that makes sleeping...

"Place was like a dream. As you enter you have a long driveway with beautiful palm trees. The place is beautiful. Clean. I was greeted by Margaret and her lovely white wolf dog. She checked us in right away. The room was large and had a great view of the lake reservoir. The sunrise is amazing here. The breakfast was 5 stars. If you’re thinking of staying in Guatape this is where you should stay. Only 15 min from the monolith."

"I have traveled a lot. This was one of the coolest places I have ever stayed. Jota (Jay) and his wife, Monica were the best hosts ever!! The property is amazing! Monica cooked a traditional breakfast from scratch! They helped with transportation and helped me practice my Spanish!! I highly recommend this place especially if you are a Lord of the Rings fan!! I will 100% be back here!!!"

Also hotel is perfect location at top of guatape short walk into town to shop and eat/drink and then take a cute colorful moto car back to hotel. Also, restaurants were great at hotel.
