It was not as pictured in the ads. Half of the facility had burned down and the office looked closed. If the payment had been refundable, I would have walked out. It took awhile to get anyone to the desk and she seemed very uncertain. The room was fine and the beds very nice. The bathroom was basic, but okay. It was nice to have access to a working ice machine but the refrigerator in the room was so dirty, I did not feel comfortable storing my food in it. Admittedly, the price was good, but it seemed a little “under” at that. The parking lot was well lit and there was a handsome and charming Black Lab who greeted us with more warmth and enthusiasm than the desk staff. He was also on hand to see us off the next morning, which is more than I can stay for the desk staff, who never came to check us out and receive the key, even though we rang the doorbell for several minutes.

Parking was good. The bed was ok. I was so tired I could have slept on the floor. There was no outside advertising light for the property. Air conditioner was a window unit and it was ok after I plugged in my personal fan. I wanted a shower but the condition of the tub was off putting. I don't usually stay in no name brand hotels, but as this one was advertised as the "historic" Route 66 I thought there would be memorabilia and furnishings from the heyday of Route 66. It was dark when I arrived and did not notice the derelict half that appeared to have burned at sometime and never torn down. This establishment should definitely not be touted as "histori c".

The rooms were ok but when I tried to plug in the refrigerator and television the outlets wouldn't work. there was loose wiring hanging outside and a corner of the building had been burned and rewired by what looked like it wasn't done professionally. The bed sheets had stains on them. I would NOT refer anyone to stay there ever until those things were corrected.

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever attempted to stay at. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy !! I’m going to try and figure out if I can get my money back !

Les visiteurs de la route66 manqueront peut-être d’objectivité, on peut y dormir, mais comme au siècle dernier. Ce n’est pas cher et cela ne vaut pas plus. Fin de règne. Pas de chauffage. Ni dans la chambre ni dans la salle douche. Robinetterie d’un autre âge mais l’eau est chaude. Photos du lobby sur l’annonce sans rapport avec letat de mai 2026. Beaucoup de travaux à prévoir.
