"We booked this hotel under the pretense that the resturant was open for business and the taxi price rate was similar to the rest of Ecuador or the reviews in our travel book. Hotel served a nice breakfast BUT no other food is available so one must go into Puerto Ayora for lunch and dinner. The taxi rate to and from hotel into town can be anywhere from $10-$15 each way..... if u want to freshen up after a long tour that will be 4 taxi rides......$40-$60 per day. The property is beautiful with magical little walk ways. The staff could not be nicer. "My room was clean! Within walking distance to almost everything I wanted to do. Breakfast was made fresh every day. The staff was extremely kind and helpful! My only complaint was the rooster that was nearby! Other than that it was quiet. "
