"The Albemarle distinguishes itself in its attention to detail. Best shower I had in three weeks in Ecuador. Lots of hot water. Used books by the bed to read, board games...the list goes on. Plus the beachfront location is great with lots of bars and eating places within 5 min walk.Plus very attentive and helpful staff especially Samy at reception. "The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with hot coffee always on. The location was walking distance to tourist spots in town from the pier to Darwin’s research center. I booked my tours through Galapagos Dreams and Joatan worked up a personalized tour for me. This made my stay easier as the staff kept me informed of pick up times and activities. Overall it really made my stay very enjoyable. "

"Room was spotless & well kept. The restaurant staff & housekeeping/groundskeeping staff were lovely people and so kind to us. We loved being so close to town, being able to use the bikes and paddle boards at the hotel, loved the little vibe of the property itself -- and that the iguanas, lizards and sea lions were usually hanging around on the dock made for endless entertainment. We had the best stay on Santa Cruz. Thanks for everything, we hope to be back soon. "
